gomembers offers advance look at Q release 1.4
[Herndon, VA] --- gomembers, Inc., (www.gomembers.com) the leading technology and solutions provider for non-profit associations and member-based organizations, has added significant updates to Q, its Microsoft .NET built enterprise software solution. Q version 1.4 is getting high marks from a group of technology professionals, who got an advance preview of the newest version. The preview highlighted many of the added Q capabilities, and generated praise from observers who noted that Q will bring organizations into the 21st century, with full features that provide complete Internet integration for their users, members, constituents and prospective members.
gomembers’ President and CEO, Paul Plaia III, detailed the new release of Q by noting that Q enhances productivity through its use of .NET technology and the system’s intuitive interface, providing a simple means for even non-technical users to customize its use for their individual needs.
“Time is so important to our customers. When we introduced Q in March of 2004, we knew that Microsoft’s .NET technology would allow our customers to expand their service offerings and provide their current programs and services more efficiently,” said Plaia. “But Q also delivers a high level of “back office” efficiencies that streamline internal processes and information gathering, vastly improving internal productivity. Q is built using the Microsoft .NET architecture and tools including: Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, C# and ADO.NET. These tools create an environment where data can be exchanged seamlessly, and presented in a format customized for individual uses. Q is a completely user defined and driven system, meaning the users can create their own personal system within the system itself, allowing for the creation of their own screens, tabs, sections, fields and functionality,” Plaia also noted.
Several observers of the Q 1.4 “sneak peek” agreed, saying that Q’s development placed gomembers at a strategic advantage. Many concluded that with the intuitive user
interface builder and the role-base user interface, the need for end user training typical with other systems is practically eliminated with Q.
“gomembers has integrated the best design elements from all their existing products,” commented one technology professional familiar with gomembers. “Leveraging the most current technology with their over 100 years of combined development delivers a product that improves the technology environment for existing customers, and will also attract new ones looking to improve their association management system.”
“The interest in Q is phenomenal,” stated Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tom McGourty. “We know our customers and other association executives have been looking for an intuitive, full-featured system, and Q represents the best of the best. Our development staff has outdone themselves, and we look forward to the continued enhancements to Q.”
